Our Most holy Mother, Shri Mataji blessed the Sahaja Yogis of the World with Her holy presence on the eve of New Year at the hall of Pratishthan today. The ‘New Year’ was celebrated by offering a beautiful Cake at Her Holy Feet, especially for the occasion, by the Yogis who were blessed to be present there.

Everything seemed to have taken place in a very spontaneous action. It was indeed a strong desire of the collective of yogis to celebrate this unique event in Her holy presence of Shri Mataji. Shri Mataji blessed the collective desire to transform into reality by blessing with Her holy presence. The holy arrival of Mother was welcome with the Swagat Agata Bhajan rendered by the Pune collective.

The hall almost seemed to be filled with Her family members of Shri Mataji and another forty to fifty yogis from all over, who gathered to celebrate the striking of the New Year in Her holy presence in Pratisthan.

Yogis offered garland and flowers at Her holy Feet. Playful Taarini, Her most favorite great grand daughter of Shri Mataji offered flowers at Her holy Feet as gesture of welcome immediately after Her holy arrival in the hall. Later a cake was offered before Shri Mataji to bless and grace the occasion. Shri Mataji blessed everyone and cut the cake at the strike of midnight amidst the cheerful collective of yogis. Loud thunderous applaud and sounds of fireworks and crackers followed outside in the Pratisthan premises announcing the heralding of the New Year 2009.

Then a few beautiful Bhajans were presented by the yogis celebrating the moments of joy in Her Holy presence of Shri Mataji. Three young children came up to offer flowers at Her Holy Lotus Feet as the bhajans were being rendered by the musical choir.

Shri Mataji seemed very pleased as She watched Her children sing the bhajans. While, the series of bhajans continued one after another and everyone was engrossed, Sir C.P. remarked ‘all this is nothing but the 'karam' (deed) of the 'Mata' (Mother)’. In fact it was indeed an indirect signal to initiate the most popular and vibration full quawwali ‘Mata ka karam hai' for Her. Later he reaffirmed by repeating again and enquired whether the subtlety of his message has rightly been understood or not? Instantly the vibration full Quawwali ‘Meri Mata Karam Hai ‘ was performed before Shri Mataji. Before departure, Sir CP wished and greeted everyone with best wishes for the New Year 2009. Shri Mataji stayed for quite sometime enjoying the bhajans and then blessed everyone before Her holy departure from the hall.

O! Our most holy Mother, Shri Mataji, we offer our millions of pranam (obeisance) and surrender at Your Holy Lotus Feet expressing our heartfelt gratitude to You for the kindness and blessings that You have showered upon us. We, the realized souls of Yours most humbly offer our collective prayers at Your Holy Feet on this day to kindly bless us to be Your more effective instruments in spreading Your message of love and truth through more and more en-masses Self Realization programmes across all continents of the world in coming year.
